VPS Lakeshore Heart Centre combines world-class equipment and highly skilled professionals with compassionate patient care. The GE Innova 2100 flat panel machine installed at the centre is the most advanced cardiac catheterization equipment in the world. Precision Echocardiography, CT Scan, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and a sensitive Biochemistry Laboratory complement the technical facilities of the centre. A world class, state-of-the art Cardiac Electrophysiology division with the facilities for conventional as well 3D mapping-guided ablation of simple and complex cardiac arrhythmias, as well as implantation and advanced follow up of cardiac devices like ICDs (Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator), CRTs (Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy),and CRTDs (Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy with Defibrillation) is operational on a full time basis here. Cathlab facilities and Interventional Cardiology services are available round the clock, every day of the year. The staff has been selected based on the criteria of exquisite professional skills required in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.
