Experience
- More than thirty five years of experience in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Expert in joint replacement surgery and treatment of complex fractures.
- National faculty for the management of injuries to pelvis and acetabulum (socket of hip joint).
- Currently focusing on joint replacement surgery of Knee and hip joints ( TKR and THR ) and treatment of fractures of Pelvis and Acetabulum.
Other Information
- Attended four years overseas training in various hospitals in England and Wales and two years in Republic of Ireland.
- In 1993 he was awarded the degree of MCh Orthopaedics by Liverpool University, UK.
- Worked as Senior Fellow in Orthopaedics in Heatherwood Hospitals, UK and as an Orthopaedic consultant surgeon in Waterford Regional Hospital, Ireland for four years.
- Received AO Fellowship training from University Hospital Hannover, Germany which is one of the best centres of trauma surgery in the world.
- He has also received advanced training in Ilizarov methodology from Lecco ,Italy under Dr Mauricio Catagni.
- Has been training young surgeons in the art of joint replacement surgery and pelviacetabular fracture surgery.
- Served as Head of the Department and Senior Consultant in various reputed institutions in Kerala.
