External radiation, which is delivered by two Linear Accelerator machines from ELEKTA. The latest version of Linear Accelerator series from ELEKTA is Versa HDâ,,c with triple FFF technology. Being equipped with AgilityTM 160 multi-leaf collimator for high-speed, high-precision beam shaping, is what that helps to deliver focused and accurate dose to cancer cells while sparing every other organ. This controls the degree of tumor with least side effects.
Triple FFF technology which delivers treatment at a very high dose rate, which itself minimises the time of treatment. Here, the patient becomes more comfortable and also, the treatment delivery is accurate.
Brachytherapy machine from ELEKTA which delivers internal radiation. It can deliver intracavitary, intra luminal and interstitial treatment to the various sites.
Radiation planning software tools that help in the precise localization of the tumor and normal structures. They also help in quantifying the dose received and make appropriate modifications.
Facility of fusing previous diagnostic images (CT Scans, MRI or PET). CT Scans ensure accurate localization of tumor even though the patient has done the initial surgery or chemotherapy.
IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) which offers more precision compared to 3DCRT - Three Dimensional Conformal Treatment techniques. IMRT is greatly useful in the treatment of head and neck, pelvic and thoracic tumors.
